Giving Back

BrooklynNew Orleans

At Leroy’s Place we know that art is not created in a vacuum, and we believe in giving back to the community that fuels our consciously created work by donating annually to esteemed organizations, regularly hosting gatherings that inspire our neighbors to act, and partnering with like-minded brands that also have give-back initiatives. We have donated upwards of $5K over the life of our give-back project, and we hope to continue growing this number. Read more below for how Leroy’s Place pays it forward.

Icons Collection

Tupac, Dolly Parton, Divine, and the Dalai Lama are just a few of the faces that make up the Leroy’s Place icons collection—faces that have impacted us and the world at large with their music, movies, and mission. And just as they’ve sent ripples out into the ether as tastemakers and change makers, we’ve made a point to follow in their footsteps and use their image to give back to an ever-growing group of non-profit organizations whose work relates either directly or indirectly to these iconic figures:

Planned Parenthood RBG – a nonprofit organization with roots in Brooklyn, NY, that provides reproductive and sexual healthcare, and sexual education in the United States and globally.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library  – Dolly – dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners
