As a collective, we believe in giving back to the community that fuels us— both locally and across the country. Alongside special projects and community events, Leroy’s Place is committed to donating a portion of proceeds each year to organizations whose work we admire.

With causes ranging from social justice to climate awareness, we currently donate to 10 organizations annually, and we hope to add more each year. We believe that no matter how small our business is, our impact matters, and little by little we can make a difference!
Featured fun-raising cause: Healthy Gulf
Healthy Gulf is a non-profit organization that aims to protect the Gulf of Mexico and the communities that depend on it by stopping the cycle of over-exploitation of its natural resources. By providing research, communication, and coalition-building tools, the goal is to restore the Gulf of Mexico to a thriving ecosystem. With the Gulf of Mexico right in the backyard of our New Orleans location, we’ve partnered with Healthy Gulf for our latest production, Doomscrolling, a puppetry performance that helps raise awareness about the climate crisis.
